Preserving materials from the estate of Elizabeth Taylor.
The Elizabeth Taylor Archive was established in 2015 with the mission to catalog and preserve materials from the estate of Elizabeth Taylor, in an effort to create a definitive resource devoted to Elizabeth’s life and work. Currently comprising over 1,000 linear feet of material, with over 20,000 digitized items, the Elizabeth Taylor Archive houses awards and honors, business records, correspondence, designs and drawings, financial and legal documents, personal effects, photographs, press and publications, scripts, speeches, videos, and more. In addition, the Archive holds an extensive collection of wardrobe items, comprising the Elizabeth Taylor Fashion Collection.
Material is continually being processed, and the Archive also regularly seeks outside sources for additional material acquisitions. The Elizabeth Taylor Archive is not currently open to the public. For Archive inquiries, including material donations, please contact the Archive directly.
