FiFi Awards

The Fragrance Foundation Award was presented to Elizabeth Taylor for Most Successful Women's Fragrance at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City on June 8, 1988. Her award-winning scent, “Passion,” was the beginning of Elizabeth’s groundbreaking success in the world of celebrity fragrance. While “Passion” marked Elizabeth’s first major licensing agreement, her involvement in developing the scent, designing the bottle and packaging, and inspiration for the name made it much more than that. She would go on to create fifteen more fragrances and ultimately win three additional FiFi awards for her most successful fragrance, “White Diamonds,” launched in 1991.
