2026 marks 35 years since the launch of the original White Diamonds, Elizabeth Taylor’s critically acclaimed and bestselling fragrance. What better time than on this anniversary to introduce a bold new fragrance that reimagines the scent for a new generation: White Diamonds Icon, the latest addition to the Elizabeth Taylor fragrance collection from House of Taylor.
White Diamonds Icon was crafted by two world-renowned and celebrated perfumers, Global Master Perfumer Carlos Benaïm and Senior Perfumer Catapano Natasha Côté-Mouzannar. Benaïm, one of the most decorated creators in the industry, worked closely with Elizabeth to develop the original White Diamonds fragrance in 1991, and has also composed fragrances for other significant luxury brands including Tom Ford, Frederic Malle, and Yves Saint Laurent. In 2013, he became the first perfumer in IFF's history to be named Master Perfumer. Working in collaboration with senior Perfumer Catapano Côté-Mouzannar, they approached White Diamonds Icon not as reinvention of a classic, but as a conversation with it. The result is a much lighter fragrance that balances luminous florals and modern warmth with the glamorous, magnetic presence embodied by Elizabeth Taylor herself.
The fragrance opens with fresh and inviting notes of Fraise Des Bois, Pear Blossom, and Green Mandarin LMR, a process that brings together the best of nature and cutting-edge technology to craft a wide range of pure ingredients for perfumery, cosmetics and flavors. At its heart, the sparkle of Cristalfizz™ and the warmth of Orange Flower LMR weave together with the quiet sophistication of Orris and the radiance of precious Jonquille Absolute LMR. Oakmoss LMR and the rich warmth of Ambrain LMR and Ambergris lend depth and sensuality to the dry down, while caramel draws everything to a smooth, opulent close.
